Can any one confirm which is the correct unit for this model?  I am looking to fit a unit to my VRS when i collect it as it only has the columbus unit.  Any help or flea bay links greatly appreciated.

Columbus is the sat nav unit and in my opinion is excellent, so it sounds like you are in luck!!

Maybe it's not the columbus one then.  There are only 6 buttons on it and no NAV/MAP buttons......

FoM your description it sounds like you have the Bolero. As above Columbus is the OEM say nave for the Octavia vRS and as per adamal I also think they are excellent.

Yes it sounds like the Bolero. If it were me I would look for a Columbus on eBay but just be wary of stolen units. Try and find a reputable seller, which others may be able to point you to, and look for one with up to date firmware (4024 or newer) and maps (v10).
