Where is best place to buy gps head unit trim?

Featured Replies

I need to change the trim from the Bolero to the bigger unit, any advice as to where to buy?

Thanks

Skoda

There isn't a bigger unit that a Bolero (is there?).

Your local dealer if it's a Skoda HU. Standard black one cost me less than £6 when I upgraded to a Columbus.

Might be referring to a Columbus which needs a bigger hole. Or a Pioneer which is a different shape altogether.

Got a complaint in with Skoda at the moment   Did this mod on my pre FL Octavia and as mentioned it was £5+, Now doing same change on my FL Octavia and the part is £55+ they are the same bit of plastic but with slightly different holes for the changed climate control. I have asked them to justify the difference in price, doubt it will get anywhere :wall: but it will make me feel better that they know I is NOT happy :wonder:

they also rip you off if you buy a skoda single din adapter kit if you own a pre 08 (i think) car. They will supply it then when the center console cover doesnt fit they tell you they dont sell that kit with the correct one for your car and have to spend £20 for a new one making the cost £100 to convert from oem to single din
