Featured Replies

not the most exciting of subjects, but following a conversation that my work mates reckon they could lift my car and put it in a tree...

The sport is 70kg lighter than the rest?!

That's a lot of weight...

As I understand this the 854kg is empty weight and 929kg is EU weight ( inc 68kg driver, 7kg luggage) Don't know why it lists the Sport like that.

68kg? I'd best go on a diet!

Me too and i'm skinny!

Lets not forget Brussels and France run Europe... they are all tiny because of the poor diet. I don't know any big french people!

Queue the list of big French people....

Gerard Depardieu.

Gerard Depardieu.

Yes and all of the French Rugby team....

68kg? I'd best go on a diet!

Just the "average" man I guess. I need to put weight on!

Just looked on VW and the Citigo handbook and figures don't add up. If the empty weight is 854kg (929kg minus 75kg) Then they are forgetting the 90% full fuel tank that it also says is included in the 929kg. 31.5 litres of fuel is around 23/24kg.

Anyone else confused yet?

Im confused... do i get a meerkat toy?

If someone really wants to weigh their Citigo I have a set of corner scales.

Citigo owners can check what their V5c lists the weight as under 'Mass In Service'. My Fiesta ST has a official EU weight of 1163kg but the V5c states 1211kg, while Autocar weighed it at 1200kg with a full fuel tank but no driver.

I prefer having the toys on our bloated Elegance

I'd have thought the S model weighed the least, much less gadgets and fancy bits?
