I had one of their's, and it must've been the worst I have ever heard, you cannot be heard and the other voice is all crackly.

Which handset do you have, and does it have Bluetooth?

I got a SE Bluetooth one and SWMBO uses a Jabra BT250 both very good. Ok so you look like an extra out of star trek but they work well for the money.

TBH, it's a bit of a compromise between audio quality and ease-of-use.

I mean the bluetooth/wired earpiece is what'll give you the best audio quality in the sense that it's closest to your ear.

Wired / bluetooth car kits such as Parrot kits are incredibly convenient. I have one in my furby and it's very good from a practicality point of view. No cables, no things to plug in. It just works as soon as you sit in the car. But arguably, sound quality isn't that good, especially at motorway speeds because the mic is about 30-40cm from your mouth so picks up road noise.

thanks for replies... i have a Nokia 6230 phone which does have bluetooth - would just rather have the phone connected through the stereo rather than having the earpiece IF a decent system is available.

Think i'll give the Halfords set-up a miss !

I agree with tfboy - the Parrot bluetooth kits are really good and go through the stereo. They are not that expensive - you can pick up the CK3000 for less than
