Over the last few months I've taken my car back to the dealer twice as a result of my PID not working properly and they said that it's common for there to be a problem with the mount but said mine is fine, however if I'm playing music through my Ipod or phone via bluetooth the music only comes out of the speakers on the passenger side of the car but if I'm playing it through the radio it works perfectly but now a few days after this happened they're working again but it keeps cutting out and going back to how it was previously it seems to be that I need to have the PID in the perfect position in order for music to play through it properly. I do also have other problems with it such as the songs sounding like a cd skipping and that happens at least once in each journey I take there's problems with my phone connecting to it but I won't get into that. It's going to the dealership today so we will see what they say

whats the phone? also have you recorded the mp3's with stereo? the compression software you used to make it into mp3 might have trimmed the right channel.

check it via blue tooth headphones to eliminate any issue with bluetooth tranmission or stereo effect.

Might be worth trying music from a memory card too.

I had this problem occur once (mono passenger sound) but I just turned the bluetooth off on my phone and then back on again and has been fine ever since.

I can 100% confirm with you that it's the mount. It happens to me every now and then. It will only play through the n/s/f speaker. When it does this hold the mount and push it down and all the other speakers will work :)

The the PID mount off the dash and have a look at the bottom of the mount. There are 2 pieces of rubber that rest on the dash. Either remove them by pulling them out or push them into the mount a little. You'll get a better connection between the PID mount and the dash and have fewer problems.
