Thank you.

The last foam I bought was VP Advanced. Sadly pressure washers refuse to run properly on the water supply at our new house so I don't think I've actually tested it. I was fairly pleased with the standard VP snow foam so I assume it'll be good.

Strange that Nick

My pressure washer will work from no pressure....Just stick a pipe in a bucket and it sucks it out

What make is it?

Hey Chris. Yeah, that's how I'm going to have to start running it I think - with a cache of water in a large bucket. I'm pretty sure I test it it in that configuration and it worked. Annoying though.

I tested two pressure washers at the new house, my main one - a Karcher 5.800 and an old Karcher and both behaved the same.

Can you not run a few water butts (catch the rain water in 3 water butts, connect PW to 3rd in line) down the side of the house?

Your PW should be able to run from them easy enough, and its pure water.

Just remember some house hold pressure washers don't or at least aren't designed to draw their own water and really require water pressure. Its usually the commercial grade ones that can happily draw their own water without risk of damage. I currently use a petrol Honda pressure washer, it draws water out of a lay flat tank in my van which has very little pressure but there is no difference in pressure compared to mains water supply... unfortunately it does empty my 500 ltr tank very quickly compared to previous washers.

He has a pressure washer with the required facility:

The Karcher 5.8 model does have a suction hose to draw water from various static sources

Got my delivery from cleanyourcar today so gave the Yeti a quick snow foam before the real snow came down with the valet pro SF.

First impression is it's quite good, not as thick perhaps as the autobrite stuff I had before and didn't quite dwell for as long but at half the price it will do for me.

The real snow came down with a vengeance so didn't get a chance to try the Sonax QD.
