Have just purchased a 12 Reg Fabia Monte Carlo 1.6 TDi and as the dealer is 40 Miles away asked for a new rear wiper to be sent out and was sent a genuine wiper which has a different fitting from what is fitted. No problem with my Dealer as I have to go back and they will sort the wiper problem out but just interested if any other Monte Carlo owners have come across this problem. The wiper sent has the longer fitting section.

 

The one he sent looks like it's for the front 

Most odd as they are clearly different fitments.

Cheers for reply. Returned to dealer who supplied the correct fitting rear wiper blade. Told  later 2012 model have the fitting they sent out and looking at newer models they have gone over to the larger fitting. Can now see clearly out my back window which with this terrible period of weather very glad for this new blade.

I have one of the worst rear wipers on my vrS....are there any that work well...I read somewhere about using a Polo one.

im using Bosch wipers all round. cant fault them, silent and wipes cleanly.
