Featured Replies

Well drop link eventually gave way and feel off whisle driving :-( so thought ok new drop link but oh now even worse news.

The coilover that has the bit that connects to the drop link has severed :-( so u guess new coilover does anyone know if I can but I single coilover it's technix obv not expense for full set but can I buy the single coilover/shocker

Surely it can be be repaired?

As above, surely a welder could tac a bracket back in place for you.

might even be still under warranty ?

Get the welder out my son!

i wouldn't weld a shock tbh, not a good idea generally.

welding a gas shock is a def no no

and oil is not recommened either.

they are a sealed unit..so when heated enough will eventually blow. Good ones have a weak spot to allow for safe blowing but the shock will then be useless.

As its a droplink mount a tac is not enough to hold it, it needs a seam. And to run a seam and get good weld penetration you will be heating the insided of the shock.

Buy some better shocks imo

This is a case of you get what you pay for, suspension is something that should not be bought on a budget.

exactly as above, buy cheap buy twice.
