Best brand Rattle Can sprays?

Featured Replies

what is the best Black Magic colour matching brand,

and the best clear coat to use?

Once the weather picks up...eventually, maybe around August the way its looking,

I intend on doing some touch up work on my Octy's suit.

going to to clean up the flakey bits of lacquer, and deeper scratches.

the car aint worth investing in a respray, so it will be a during some time off,

rub down rattle can colouring, rubbing and clear coating and a lot of polishing to hide..

thanks guys

Edit -

I also intend on body matching the rub strips, grill surround, and maybe the wing mirror mounts.

thoughts/ pics on how it would look?

Find an auto trade paint supplier & get them to colour match the rattle cans for you. I've never had decent paint from a motor factor, Halfrauds etc.

Skoda dealer

Yeah agreed, the stuff from the main dealer is good but expensive.

What range Raf?

The Range is a chain of stores that sell everything from pet food to very shoddy Chines made furniture and flammable cushions.

thats a decent finish.... im really going to need to concentrate when i get going!!!

If i am honest the bonnet is too big for a rattle can but it came out fine... My mk1 was a track toy... it weighed 780 kilos and had 188bhp at the fly with a 4 speed close ratio box wasnt worried about finish...

Oh yeah and it did 0-60 in under 6 sec! :)
