Citigo on PCP plus other questions

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I'm thinking of getting my wife a Citigo.  I'm due to receive an Octavia as a company car and she's been saying how she likes the Citigo.

If I purchase one, it will most likely be on a PCP style plan as it's almost like hassle free leasing of a car, and with very little deposit.

So first question is (as they don't list examples on their site), what sort of monthly payments can I expect for a mid range model such as an SE with that Garmin thingy?  Any examples would be nice actually from those with little or no deposit on various models!

My wife does a 20mile journey to work, and it is mainly on dual carriageway at motorway speeds.  With this in mind, what are they like on the motorway?  She currently has a Yaris, and the gearing is too low if i'm honest so the engine really races and buzzes away at those speeds.  Not very refined!

Finally, what's the boot like?  She has a cake baking company so regularly delivers cakes so needs to be practical.  Putting the seats down isn't a problem if it can be made fairly flat etc.

Thanks in advance.  Your opinions are much appreciated.

Stu

On my Sport I put £2300 down (my px not actually cash) and my payments over 36 months are £97pm :-)

As for the boot it's fine! But for your wife's needs you would want to spec the adjustable boot floor so when you drop the seats the boot and seats are level :-)

Oh and I commute 24miles a day and it's great and I get around 55-60mpg!!

Other than that The Citigo is an awesome little city/commuter car which is also fine on faster roads :-)

Daveface, nice reply but a bit vain to like your own posts :D

You can get Citigo's for as little as £149 deposit and £149 per month

I use the motorway everyday in mine and its superb on them, cant fault it

Think the Citigo is a great choice for your wife

Haha woops!! That's what the tick does on the mobile site :-D (will have to use it more often)

I never use the mobile version but it must be :D

I ordered a sport with the max deposit of 30% and 0% APR and my monthly payments are going to be £86 the deposit was about £ 2950.

The other half has a elegance almost top spec and pays about £140 with 7.9% APR with a deposit of around £2500. She uses hers every day on the motorway and does a great job. Being light it does get blown around a little in the strong winds were getting.

It seems that theres some variability on some of the PCP deals offered.

My local dealer offered an elegance (with the sound pack) for £1000 down and £125 per month @12K miles pa

I got a sport with serpens and gap insurance for £1000 down and £120odd per month @12K miles pa

if you look here they are offering SEs for £99 down and £99 per month or sports for £119 and £119 at 5K miles pa

I was always told with a PCP to put the min possible deposit down?

We have ordered a white 5dr SE with spare, variable floor and the PID. With £100 deposit is £162pm with 15,000 miles a year.

Nice one

Thanks for the responses so far folks. The figures are looking pretty good.

Important things for us are, variable boot floor, decent sound and PID thingy.
