Red Monte / vRS? - can't work out what it was...

Featured Replies

Hi all

I'm noticing quite a few red Monte Carlo's with the black vinyl wrapped upper half around my area at the moment, great colour choice especially with black alloys.

I saw one today that my girlfriend pointed out up Asda earlier, I said that it wasn't a vRS but a Monte Carlo, I think she liked the idea of having one without the 180 engine so was quite impressed.

However I then saw it had vRS badges on it... But all other signs pointed towards Monte Carlo. It was the current shape with the black pack on it but it had white / cream non sports seats and no chrome tipped twin exhaust and standard looking fog lights and not the LED DRL's so I'm guessing it's not a vRS?

Why try and make something out to be something it isn't though...

You can tell if it was a monte it has a piano black skirt around the wheel arches  sill's and around the rear bumper. Does not have a rapped roof but painted black magic

There is an accident damaged red Fabia re-built by a member that was not even a Monte Carlo.

but given all the right bits and looks like a vRS.  It was very well done.

A member has a White Fabia Diesel Estate done very well with a vRS front & wheels

and really is like a verson that Skoda should have built.  IMO

From the pictures of it, the interior looks nicer than anything Skoda offered for a Fabia.
