Evening all!

I'm looking about for an Octy Elegance estate with a budget of £1500.

I've turned up a few which have been pretty high on the miles which I can live with. I'm just after any common faults with them that I can look out for when I visit the next one?

Has anyone got a high miler who can suggest some pointers? I'm due to look at an 51 plate with 189k with a full history and stacks of receipts so should be able to ascertain a lot from the paperwork.

if diesel, onlt thing that really spring to mind is the potential for sticky vanes in the vnt turbo,

but a mr muscle cleaning (a searh will throw up the guide) shud sort that.

other than that, the same leaks etc as all octys -

door cards, clogged scuttle drains, sunroof drains...

as long as its been owned by nice people who kept it well, shud be good
