Does anyone know if the 6 Speed manual gearbox in the 2.0 PD Tdi has Synchromesh in reverse. My last couple of cars had it and i'm keen to know if my new Skoda will have it too.

You can engage reverse whilst still rolling. Not sure whuite how far it goes, although if anyone fancies shoving it into reverse at 80, then i'd be interested to know what happens.

It's standard on Modeo's and of course on my old diesel Freelander. If you have to consiously think about about whether your quite stopped moving forward yet then it doesn't have it.

In that case it must have (oops )
