It's amazing what you can fit in the back

Featured Replies

I had a band rehearsal this evening and I'd usually chuck what I need in the van and head off. However, I thought I'd see if I could get everything in the Citigo and was pleasantly surprised.

With the seats down I got a full drum kit, a bass guitar in its case, and three bags of cables/mics/bits in comfortably with room to spare. OK, there was a drum on the passenger seat but you can't have everything. The rest of the band were gobsmacked when I turned up.

What really surprised me was that there was no discernible effect on performance. The car was just as nippy and fun to drive as when empty. A hell of a lot warmer than the van too!

I've done a house move and various tip trips in mine. Everyone always looked shocked when I go and get more stuff to put in my citigo. It's like a tardis

I really did think I'd end up using the van but the car just kept swallowing more and more stuff.

The great thing is that if the van were ever to brake down we could still get to gigs in our cars. Not ideal but the show must go on.
