still having a lot of problems with the unit! its going a little different now, it goes through the full update and brings the update successful screen however after it boots again, shows the welcome to skoda logo and then it turns off. nothing after that. it doesnt show the clock too. also when i change the heater controls, this is shown on the screen. what do you guys suggest?

You would expect the heater controls to show up so sounds like progress. And it actually appears like it is stuck in display off mode. Try the hard button for the setup menu, do you get anything?

yes tried that but still no progress. ive probably tried 4-5 different firmwares on it now. i was thinking to pay someone to try and fix it, if available. you guys think i should? seen someone on ebay who charges £90 + return delivery and he thinks he could fix it. anyone on here??
