Company Car insurance Question

Featured Replies

Do you cover company cars, where the owner/registered keeper is the lease company?

I've got two staff with cars coming very soon and we'll need to get them covered. Fleet size will be 2 cars in the UK only.

Also in these instances, since (I assume) the lease company is the policy holder, can the drivers use their no claims, or is this not something that can happen?

Any advice appreciated.

Two cars is too small for a fleet policy and the drivers wouldn't be able to use their NCB. However, as long as the lease is for more than 12 months we can arrange cover individually for you and retain each driver's NCB. Please call our Motor Manager Paul direct on 01424 205005.

My company car is ow,Ned by the lease co but insured by me. Although not the owner I have an "insurable interest".

I use NFU Mutual

I'd expect us to beat the their rate as a club sponsor.

Sorry Chris Knott, didn't mean to take anything away from you guys - just clarifying it was possible to insure a car owned by others.
