Just been to the Dealers to check up on my car. Ordered 8th October it is at build week 9, so that means commencing March 3rd??? but the guy said no chassis number has been allocated. It is apparently a code 20. So is that confirmed?

I'm on BW9 also, but i hope skoda's BW follow calendar weeks which means it would start Feb 24th.

So we are looking at about 6 weeks till we take delivery? 

5-6 weeks should be accurate. Cars take about 3 weeks from driving off the assembly line to being ready for collection at your local Dealer.

BW 9 here too.

 

Advised by dealer that car should be available for collection at the end of March.

I'm confused.. My dealer says build week 9 is next week. So is it by calendar weeks or the actual ninth week which is indeed next week. Sounds daft I know. Anyone clear this up?

Judging by the other threads this week is BW9 and the next is 10. Which is exactly what i have confirmation of, from my dealer last week(Thursday) that my car will be built next week(BW10) and delivered to me in week 13 or 14. No ferry for me and therefore a quicker delivery.

Judging by this, you are infact not BW9 but 10, he had BW4 and his car was built 24/1 which would be calendar week 4

I am build week 9 and have been told by my dealer that it's being built this week.

OOO goody! Those little Skoda Elves are screwing my car together this week then. I'm giddy as a kipper. Many thanks for clearing this up guys. Knowing my luck it will be a Friday car :-(

Fantastic! It has been built!! Just had the call Only 2/3 weeks to go now. Seems like eons since ordering October 8th. My old Candy White MKII is in the classifieds, if anyones interested...

Mine is also now in the country with transport order. How long now??

A longish drive up to collect, but really looking forward to the return trip with the new car.
