Just wondering if anyone has taken delivery of their car from a build week 5? I've been told by my dealer that it will probably be the end of Feb before i get mine which seems quite long by comparison to others.

 

Thats said i can't say that he has been overly active in keeping me up to speed on progress.

Thought it took another 3-4 weeks after building before collection

Oh yeah, had I been able to get 1.8 I'm sure I'd have been amazed too.

Hmmmm... These cars do get shipped by boat across the North Sea you know, not a place I'd want my car to be right now.

My vRS hatchback was built week 5.

Spoke to Skoda Uk on Wednesday who informed me - Good news your car is on the docks at Emsden awaiting shipment. Bad news due to the sea conditions there is a back log of cars waiting to be shipped over and it could be another 4 or 5 weeks.

 

Guessing I was lucky for a change then! Mine arrived in the uk on Thursday and is expected at the dealers Monday or Tuesday so hopefully I'll have it soon after.

Mine was build week 4 (ordered beginning Sept 2013) and still haven't got it. Apparently it's sitting in Tyne now waiting to be transported up here. We might get it next weekend but wouldn't surprise me if we don't.
