Check the manual - not sure about Skoda but some manufacturers warn not to fit headlight protectors as the units can overheat

oh..

Have been looking at having the front of the car protector filmed also bumper ..lights.. bonnet etc had a quote of £400 fitted

not sure if thats a good price or not

Had Armourfend film fitted to a sports car I had a few years ago and it did a brilliant job, you could see the film edge but that was a fair compromise to protect from a shot blast effect front end!

What is the 'protection' supposed to guard against?

Has anyone ever had a headlight actually damaged, other than as a result of a crash?

I have been driving for more years than I care to remember and it has never happened to me, nor to anyone I know.

Yes, pheasant at about 55mph, although I don't think it would have helped much as it also damaged bonnet and grille! ;) ;) ;)

Cheers
