Hi all, I know it's not a Fabia but from my understanding they use pretty much all the same parts anyway.

Just bought this Ibiza 1.9TDI sport and it's got some problems I was hoping someone would be able to help me with.

First one is the power steering, at the moment it has none at all!! I checked the fluid today and it seems to be fine so must be the pump. Anyone know if it has to be off of a 1.9TDI or can it be off any ibiza model? I'm sure I read that the polo and fabia ones are the same as well?

Secondly is that the wipers don't seem to work either! If you pull the stalk can hear the motor for jets go but the wipers just don't work at all. I went out to the car this morning and tried them as soon as I got in the car and they worked, got half a mile down the road and tried them again and nothing! And nothing again for the rest of the day! Don't know why but I'd like to find out pretty sharpish as it's quite dangerous driving with no wipers when it starts raining!

Other than these 2 problems it seems to be alright and nice to drive and good on fuel as well!

If anyone could help would be greatly appreciated!
