Just want to know whos got a White octy vrs.. mate had one seen many about back then been a good while since i last seen one. Would love to see a few pics of what white ones are still about.

Pretty sure the mk1 VRS only came in Black, Silver, Red & Yellow. The rare WRC version was in White though.

It did come in white. Not just the WRC version

Never seen a standard VRS in white, but unlike now white wasn't a popular colour in the early 2000's.

White VRS's were mainly sold straight to police..

Two white ones in rochdale. 52 and 53 plates

Ah, yes of course the Police had white ones. So was the mk1 VRS available to the public in white?

Yep some after police use and some later models were sold straight to public.. theres a white 05 on ebay.. and another 54 white i seen for sale..

Spotted on in south wales once but not seen it since was modified and had black roof looked awesome

It is not uncommon for the WRC ones to have lost their stickers and maybe folks sell them as a std VRS coz they don't know what it was or police versions are sold off to public.

Police ones are just a normal vrs painted in white. So yes.. They were made in white regardless of who bought them. Now the police dont use them us regular joes can pick them up

True they were... my point was the VRS was not sold to the Joe public (when new) , apart from only in WRC trim.

 

Of course we all  now we can now get them easy enough.......

And a calibrated speedo usually.

 

Plus lowered front springs.....to increase better handling and turn in
