I have a problem that i need to resolve. The MK1 Octavia sdi estate i own started mucking about when the door lock led stayed on. I charged the battery (car stood for a month due to health problem) having done this the Central locking is intermittent. Yesterday the rear drivers side window kept rising and falling of its own accord so i am asking for help on this little puzzler. Garage told me its the beggining of the end of my lovely car thats in clean condition.

Welcome to the forum. Whitep's response is sometimes used to highlight a topic to a member for them to keep an eye on. If you post a full stop in the thread the forum highlights that you have posted by displaying a star marker rather than a dot.

I would hazard a guess that whitep wants to see what responses you get as they may well be suffering the same problem.

Anyways, pop a post into the Mk1 Octavia forum for a more focussed audience.

Well thanks all the same but once bitten twice shy i found the answer by talking to the original supplier who whilst no longer a dealership answered and solved the problem at no cost or wait for the info. Job done.
