Have owned my vRS since new in Nov 2011, want to get it re-mapped but have had problems with my ECU not accepting new information.

Can anyone provide any info with companies etc that I can contact please?

Revo, apr. Protune(contact the office in Blackpool, not the nationwide agents as they write the maps) loads of others about. Sure the others on forum will list them for you.

The ecu needs to come out and be opened up to remap these, find your nearest apr or revo deal or have a look at the site sponsers as im sure a fair few of them can do it

I would look at APR for your re-map.

These are a couple of REVO documents on PDF.

 

The Unlocking is the ECU on the 1.4tsi CAVE engine 2009-late 2012  132-136 kW (180-185ps)

the Revised CTHE Engine from late 2012-13-14 has a Different map and ECU,

I do not know of one of these with a Re-map done.

(If anyone knows of someone with a CTHE REmapped, could you say please done by who, where etc. thanks)

 

I would avoid REVO for a Twincharger re-map.

& be sure you have a good engine, 

and that you have good spark plugs being fitted before getting a Map done.
