Wheel fitment question

Featured Replies

Got a question about some wheels im looking to fit on my vrs. It's currently standard, however i'm looking to lower it about 40mm-50mm.

The link below is what willtheyfit.com said:

http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=205&aspect=45&diameter=16&wheelwidth=6.5&offset=35&width2=165&aspect2=40&diameter2=16&wheelwidth2=7.5&offset2=20

So i'm assuming they would fit all ok? i'm looking to put 20mm spacers on as well, will this be doable? As the wheels i'm looking at will require adaptors.

thanks.

You just buy adaptors the thickness you want no need for spacers aswell. You can get 15mm adaptors making the offset 5. Unsure how they will fit though.

Yeh sorry that's what I meant. originally i wanted 20mm adaptors. Anyone know if that will work?

In that link you've entered 165/40 16 tyre size????

If the total offset with adapters is going to be ET5 I can't see it working,as the wheel is 30mm further out than standard plus the extra width as you've said they are 7.5j wide.

I just compared the 7.5j et0 (that's with 20mm adapters) to my 8j et22 fronts and you will have roughly 15mm more poke than mine which isn't to bad. If you could go 15mm adapters on the front and 20mm on the rear that would work well but would need to be abit lower than 50mm in my opinion to pull it off.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I really don't know about this stuff so i had to ask. as long as they fit, i'll worry about how low suits it after. cheers
