Hi I have a vrs and recently when my wife leaves in the morning I very noticed that the fog lights are on as she has them on auto then the next minute the left turns off then the right a few seconds later , she tells me that the warning light on the dash comes on but doesn't stay on all the time . Any ideas please. Regards

Could it be that cornering foglights are activated? Both would come on in reverse but then the side whichever way you are turning?

Dunno about the warning light though.

Looks like an intermittent bulb fault

Change the bulbs and see if that solves it

If she has Cornering fogs activated, looks like she does, then I assume that's what you mean when you say 'Auto'
