WAVETRAC LSD TO FIT 02J GEARBOX OCTAVIA VRS ETC

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I am now changing gearbox and diff combinations so have for sale my wavetrac lsd unit, this fits all the pre 2004 02J 5 speed gearbox's .

I bought it new in december 13 and have used it in my tdi rally car on 1 event totalling 50 miles and around 80 miles of road use too, it has just come back from the UK dealer as I have had it fully checked out and rebuilt with new carbon shims and springs so it it as new, it comes with the bolt kit to replace the soft rivits and the diff bearings.

I am only changing it as I have been offered a multiplate unit which will suit my needs better on rallies.

£780 for the lsd with bolt kit and bearings, I am willing to build it into your gearbox if required at extra cost. this lsd is the untimate for a tuned Vrs octavia or golf and the way it works is fantastic thru corners and makes the car so much more stable as it is always putting the power to the ground instead of spinning a wheel.

there is lifetime warranty on the unit and I will supply all the paperwork with it (still have the box it came in too)

these are £900 new plus bolt kit and bearings so a bargain at £780.

I can highly recommend this - I love mine and no longer spin the wheels in first and second - unless I want to :)
Gearbox changed fitment in March 2004 so as long as yours is stamped before this date you're good.

+1 for the wavetrac. Have one fitted in my octy. One of the best upgrades you can perform.
