AP vs Vogtland shocks and springs

Featured Replies

Ok so i posted the other day about changing from my horrendous JOM coilover setup to a decent shock and spring combo as i travel 34 miles aday. Now i seen the AP shock and spring combo lowering the car 25mm and having alot of good feedback from customers. Now iv just spotted the Vogtland shock and spring combo on DPM performance for the VRS that lowers the car by 40mm all round is this kit any good its priced higher than the AP kit but has a much nicer drop personally. Heres the link

Lowers it by 25mm not 40mm.

Looks nice that.

how does it afftec tyre wear tho?

I had a full alignment done after the suspension change,

so I had no weird stuff start happening with my tyres.

Mind you, I had some very poor tyres on the front of my Fab,

They were on the car when I bought it and 4 years later when I sold it

they were still on there showing no real signs of wear at all.

Wear rate was excellent, but grip was not their strong point.

Okay in the dry but in the wet :o :o :o
