EPC light on, won't start

Featured Replies

Hi all, had an issue with my mk1 VRS, the EPC light has on a couple of occasions, stayed on while cranking, then she starts after about 5 seconds of cranking. Switch off, starts again perfectly.

Sadly, a halfords battery decided to let me down yesterday morning, and car wouldn't crank fast enough to start. Replacement battery on, EPC light stays on, and she won't start at all..........just cranks.

I am going to collect my OBD2 to have a look at the fault codes, just wondered if anyone has had a similar problem?
