Hi all, when I picked up my fabia it had a mdi/ipod cable in the glove box, the dealer was good as gold and said not a problem if it doesn't suit they'll order in the correct cable for me. I went in this morning to collect the new mdi/micro usb cable and it fits my Nokia lumia 800 but doesn't work connect or charge, all at dealership seem a bit puzzled, we proved the mdi on the car works with another cable and a salesmans iPhone, so it seems a phone/cable issue.

Any advice welcomed

Not sure if it will fix it, but obvious thing would be put the phone in mass storage mode - or if it's in mass storage, take it off.
