Current factory order rearrangement

Featured Replies

Has anyone heard any news regarding the changes in the factory suggested by SUK as the reason why so many VRS orders have dropped back to no date?

Any hints if this is going to improve things or move them back even further?

I had to visit a closed dealers yesterday to just rmind myself what the car I ordered at the end of november will actually look like if it ever arrives!  Fortunately it renewed my enthusiam but this uncertainty is getting very boring.

Ordered mine 15th October, getting it on Monday!!

There was mention in another thread (sorry can't find a link) which said that Skoda were implementing a vRS only production line. As a result the production of vRS' had ceased while they rearrange the factory... Like I say only a mention in a thread and to my knowledge not confirmed by Skoda.

But can't help thinking it would be a good idea...

Andy, I made a hopeful suggestion that the current rearrangements would help IF they were creating a vRS only production line.

Its an uninformed suggestion, I know nothing, I'd just hope it was something they were looking at considering the delays.

Sorry if this gave you any false hope or suggestion.

Regards

T

T,

I was hoping you weren't going to say that; you are meant to say you are a man in the know and work at the factory! Nevermind, it is a good idea idea though and would make perfect sense.

They're making a special area where they're bringing Seat Leons in and sticking Skoda and VRS badges on them and shipping them to customers hoping noone notices due to the ellation of actually getting a car :-)

Ah you mean "Selected customers are being upgraded to the limited edition VRSmall. This special edition is produced on a dedicated line in order to increase customer fulfilment."?
