First Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

Recently got a 06 Fabia vRS. Having come from a Astra VXR i can honestly say i'm enjoying the fuel consumption a lot more!

Took the car to Darkside Developments last wednesday and had it remapped. Good outcome I think but it's abit smokey!

It shouldn't smoke at all at that power level? Welcome on board none the less. Are you local to Darkside then?

welcome to brisky :)

It shouldn't? They didn't seem bothered at all that it smoked. It's just unbutton fuel isn't it?

I'm not exactly local, 2 hours away or so.

No stage 1 map should smoke enough where the owner says "its abit smokey!" unless its running one of the higher end maps 180bhp+

Nothing to worry about at all, just if you don't want smoke and its smokey esp. at that power it would annoy me.

Personally I don't mind smoke, I know mine didnt smoke even a little with a stage one map at very similar power.

I would post the video but tapatalk doesn't let you.

I'm not bothered about smoke at all, I think it's funny haha.

It's all about the fuel. It had a **** generic map on it when I bought it with 1.65 bar going through it with 3 milligrams of fuel added and it didn't smoke at all, of course it was running lean.

Ryan and Scott at Darkside said the old map had cause the flywheel to vibrate? I now need a new one so why not upgrade?

I don't know which to upgrade too though.

Hi and welcome aboard.
