Parking Sensors (again)

Featured Replies

Picked up a Roomster for the lad this weekend. Very impressed to be honest.

Only issue we have is with the parking sensors, they don't seem to work at all. Nothing on Dance display and no beep.

Question is where is the control box located so I can take a look to see if its an electrical fault. Also what is the rough cost to have them replaced at Skoda dealers?

Cheers

Could be they haven't been set up in the Dance.

Look in the setup menu for PDC (=Parking Distance Control)

Be sure that the Dance display is activated and the "beep" volume hasn't been set to zero or off.

Looked in the menu but there is no mention of PDC on the screen.

My answer based on my 3 Skodas with parking sensors but none with the Dance unit!

According to the manual

Page 6 of the PDF shows how the PDC volume is set in the audio settings

Page 8 of the PDF shows how the PDC display is activated in the special functions part of the menu.
