Wax addiction gone too far!

Featured Replies

Ok so that's enough now.

I promise myself I won't buy any more car related products for at least 2 months and actually make some use out of the mountain of products I own.

Today's purchases! :(

I know I'm nearly as bad as you mark! :D

I spot a 'layering' plan!!!

I know I'm nearly as bad as you mark! :D

Nearly as bad? I count six pots of wax in one shopping spree

NOTE to Carl

Autobalm is a sod to apply and buff

Believe it or not..a light spritz with water helps with the buffing off......Its a perfect base for a wax or several waxes ;)

I got the dodo juice waxes and collinite from si at ishine. Literally 10 minutes from me pressing the complete checkout button he was knocking on my door with them.

I can't fault ishine at all, wish they stocked a bit more but service is outstanding.

And hang on a sec mark I'm sure you had at least 10 waiting for you when you got back home? :)

Yeah I had a look and thought it looks quite thick, guess I'm really going to have to thin it out.

I could stick it over those paint issues I have chris.

You could but I would get Skoda to look at that first ...its clearly a Paint Warranty issue

Are you nuts? ;)

Yup :(

Wow - definite OCD there Carl.... but good luck and i hope you find some products that work well for you.

As discussed earlier - get some autosol and wire wool on the exhausts and they will come up nice too.

Did this on the girlfriends Seat Exeo TDI and they came up like new......

...but i still ended up installing chrome exhaust tips

Thanks ste, I will give it a go.

I know very OCD, this is the last for me for a while, I'm going to start using them instead of looking at them :D

You're not nuts, well maybe a little, I used to spend all my time polishing whatever car I owned at that time, there is nothing better than seeing a shine on your car that is so good you would be forgiven if you thought you were looking in a mirror.

I once had a Nissan 200sx which I polished so frequently that I went through the paint. I can't do my Octy any more but I have a great lad who loves detailing cars, it's kind of cleaning by proxy lol.

Dinski, there is nothing wrong with being proud of your motor. :)

Awesome.... plenty of wax on, wax off practice to be had there!!!

Nice little collection :)

We seem to be a minority though I feel, apart from place like this where you can talk to like minded people, everyone else thinks I'm bonkers for either spending so much time on the vehicle or talking about it.

But then I find it strange that the majority of blokes I know obsess over football, a bunch of guys chasing a ball around a field? or cars?

Easy for me!

Football in cars it is then!

That's way too much for any normal person. I will be willing to take a few off your hands ;)

On a serious note that's a good collection.

Buff your Autobalm off almost as quickly as you apply it.
