Nokia Lumia 1020

Featured Replies

Has anyone connected this phone to the Columbus system? I have tried searching and it displays no compatible phone found.

Anyone have any ideas as I thought Nokia's were the easiest to connect.

lumia 920 connected and works well. (same operating system)

The only thing that you don't seem able to do is to start voice dialling by pressing the phone symbol on the steering wheel but the Columbus voice dialling is available of course.

Make sure you have set the phone Bluetooth to visible. (best read the manual)

Congratulations for having Windows Phone and a 1020. Its a great camera and a fantastic phone. I have a 1520 and my wife has the 1020 - both connect seamlessly to my Columbus.

Quick fact regarding Windows Phone for those people who have dismissed it, it has been the fastest growing OS year on year for the past 2 years and isn't as far behind Apple as people think. In Europe for example we hold more than 10% market share (admittedly that could be better), but Apple are only at 19% and while Windows Phone gained 4% share last year, Apple lost 4% share last year. That is expected to continue this year with release of 8.1 and all the new handsets.

So enjoy that Lumia 1020 and rest assured it does work fine with the Columbus.
