Search for beta 14.2 on the Ross tech site and it will appear.

I got offered this by the auto update, but not 12.2.2 oddly!

I think thats because updates are set to releases and beta by default, you can change it.

Time to fire up my netbook then and let it update

I also need to retrieve my oulton park footage from it.

Yep, when set to releases only (after downloading 14.2) If I run 12.12.0 and check for updates it says there are no updates available. Just installed 12.2.2 manually.

One of the Ross Tech guys said the betas were good enough for daily use.

Mine asked me to download and update to 12.2.2 within seconds of going to the desktop screen.    Now done.

My laptop just offered VCDS Beta 14.2.0 - I have opted to let VCDS check for Releases and Betas .  When I checked manually after downloading the Beta version, VCDS 12.2.0.reported that no updates were available.  So I went to Ross-Tech's site and downloaded VCDS 12.12.2 (not 12.2.2).  Once that was installed, I was offered the Beta again when I launched VCDS.

I got offered v14 then when I checked it had installed v12.

My Beta update didn't. Confusing or what?
