The first moment I saw this news headline I thought that Didier and Toni had actually won something.

Then I read the story on autosport.com and found that they'd simply won the proverbial race against time... :(

Skoda's usual pair will be in Australia

Skoda drivers Didier Auriol and Toni Gardemeister have both declared themselves fit to drive the new Fabia in Rally Australia next week.

Both were on the injured list and in some doubt for the event, but their respective recoveries are now all but over.

Auriol has apparently confounded doctors by his fast return to fitness after a shoulder operation.

Hmm looking forward to that -- hope the Fabia can muster a decent finish
