It is pretty bland publicity fodder to be honest. I don't usually buy Auto Express because the articles are thin and boring and this is no exception. The pieces on the classic Skodas amount to little more than a paragraph on each car but one is forced to read about parents v kids in Citigos, some bloke carting a bike around in a Rapid fast back and loads of marketing spiel from Skoda's brand manager.

The seperate souvenir mag on the Skoda rally car by Autocar a few months back was much better. I am afraid Motoring journos seem to have an easy life these days as they write bugger all: maybe 500-1000 words? Bring back 1980s CAR magazine under Nicholls, Cropley, Setright, Llewellin etc. Autocar for the win these days and only mag I buy regularly. When Cropley retires as Ed in Chief though I reckon it aill go hugely downhill :(

A few interesting bits, but I did smile when "The family who are Britain's biggest Skoda fans" only had five of them.

We've got that many Yetis in our family without any other models...
