Lowering Monte Carlo

Now i've not long had the monte estate but i would like it a bit lower over the standard "sports suspension"

 

The salesman told me they do an OE kit you can get, and i've seen the  eibach pro kit which i've experienced on other road cars and been happy with.

 

I just wondered if anyone has any opinions/experience on the above? another 40mm or so and a bit stiffer would be nice

yeah 40mm looks alright i think! just want to minimise that arch gap a bit

I have eibacks on my vRS estate, (and the H&R RARB, this is awesome!) and they work well... you keep your warrenty with the eibacks too!

is the OEM kit from skoda essentially the eibach pro kit then?

 

Going for that would be an easy option as they have said they can fit it at the first service

yes.... just make SURE they order the estate springs, because they are different to the saloon

Yeah I saw they were listed specifically as estate springs. Will get a set fitted at the first service I think!

My Pro Kit just arrived few days ago. I've been hearing advices like changing the shock absorber bump stops replaced from standard to Ibiza Cupra? The thing is, allegedly, that the car with lowering springs and standard bump stops is too stiff, so shorter bump stops make it better. Does anyone know about this from the first hand? This mod is not common in my country, so I'm asking you, seem like there at your place Pro Kit is a must-have. :D
