Crazy reductions on FK website?

Featured Replies

Just wondering what the story is with the price of FK coilovers, have priced them around Ireland and the UK and they vary quiet a bit but this site out in Germany lists all the FK range with crazy reductions! http://www.fk-shop.de/en/Suspension-Tuning/Coilovers/

HighSports, KonigSports, Silverlines and Silverline X at almost half the price in some cases.

Are the stores here having a huge markup or how are these so cheap?

For example a set of KonigSports from Germany come in an €587 while some retailers over here are charging just over €800.

I wouldn't have been a fan of this brand at all but having trawled through the forums they get very good reviews from most people. Even on here, that Norwegian wagon was running Highsports. (You'll have to forgive me for forgetting his name :) , gorgeous car though)

Anyone have any experience of these or what are the thoughts on these prices?

If this is true they just sold some kits :)

Any feedback on shock absorbers

I ran high sports on 2 civics covering the best part of 100k if not more. Only thing which went was one damper started leaking

Highsports are stiff but ride really well

Any feedback on shock absorbers

I ordered a pair of rear lowering shocks from their site during the Christmas holidays.Paid only around 30 euro for the shocks and 30 euro for shipping.

In comparison to the consistently defective Spax damping adjustable shocks, which btw were replaced twice to no avail, they're much quieter, almost silent I daresay.I do miss the adjustibility feature though, but they do the job reasonably well.

To sum up,a good inexpensive choice.

Would be ideal if all this was true, I'd be looking at the highsports or sport edition plus, they both see my get great reviews!

seem to**

Seems like most are for models late 90 and early 2000.

Just filter down to Octavia Mk2!
