Annoying Buzz

Featured Replies

I have an annoying buzz coming from

The passenger side rear of the car. Sounds as though it's coming from under the seat - around where the fuel tank is?

Only thing I can describe it as is like a Geiger counter.

Anybody got any ideas? Just a little bit annoying!! Have taken a video but photobucket is absolutely ****!

I'm sure I get a similar noise, but I only notice it when I've got the rear seats down. It drives me absolutely mental, no idea what it is though sorry!

I get it with the seats up, driving me a bit mad recently to be honest.

I get one that sounds like it's coming from the glove box (yes I tried emptying it). Very annoying!

I've got a similar sound, but I think it's a rear wheel bearing, not sure, going to change it and see what happens.

Let us know :)

I have it but only does it when someone is sat in the seat and car is idling.

I also had this, I fixed it thank god by removing the panel to the side of the glove box that sits between the glove box and the door when the door is shut in search of the rattle/vibration noise I had and using a technical piece of equipment, it was a simple fix, all you need is a little sponge :D I'd put pictures up but not sure how to post them.. :/ Also get an annoying vibration from the rear seats in the top corners where they rest against the plastic bit with the speakers in it because they are leather :( again, thanks to some crafty sponge work and sound deadening stuff mat, problem solved!

The parking ticket holder does it sometimes too! I just have to lift it off the screen then put it back again..

aaand, the passenger seat somehow makes something in the centre console near the hand brake rattle when its in a slightly forward position!! :( I'm really picky when it comes to rattles, they drive me nuts so I have to find the solution when they develop!!
