Hello all, some of you might know me from my old mk1 fabia vrs with the scirocco interior in it.

So time to move on to the next chapter of my life...

Still in the same job but based a lot closer to home, I decided to buy the mk2 fabia vrs.

Picked the car up from Barnsley

Just under 14000 now on 16234

2011 fabia vrs

Candy white

Black roof

Black wheels

Black pack

Parking sensors

Armrest

Cruise control

Climate control

Auto glym lifeshine

And still under warranty

After about a week of so i brought a forge induction which still needs to be fitted and also a h&r rarb

I swapped the plate over VR52 LOW

I let Xmas get out the way then I started to think about the mods for the car and try do things that people haven't done yet. So I ordered a smooth grill and rear vrs sill protectors from milotec, Germany.

Tried to keep everything hush hush. Ordered the airlift performance airride with v2 management then sent it to my bodyshop man. Also had the front bumper smooth and took off the rear fabia/vrs badges. Also got a set of schmidt th lines splits 17x8 with 205/40/17. Got everything done, to plan and revelled it at the spring dubs show. I ended up winning best other vag. So pleased with the out come of it.

Also been to skoda today asking about a new side repeater and rear boot badge under warranty. They can do it but want the car 3 hrs to do the job and only book the car in when I need it the most.

I wanted to lower mine and I know that a lot of people on here just do the lowering springs, which I wasn't bothered about. As I do a lot of vw shows in the year. So I believe this is the vrs to have air ride so now the number plate means something lol. Yes I think you could blend them into one but personally I wouldnt like it. Probably the best way would take a mold of the bonnet and grill together them make one item out of fibre glass.

well if I got the time it would be at ultimate dubs this weekend but they lefted it to Thursday night to email saying I got a place for both days. Already planned a day out now with my daughter and she comes first. Mine is still under warranty as it's having a new engine in 2 weeks time eek...

cheers sharkrider. Quick update the car is back at the body shop just to be finished off and next week to Skoda for the engine replacement. I wonder what courtesy car I will get.

I collected the car last night from the bodyshop with the finished boot install. I am very pleased with now. Also before it rained today I fitted camber shims too so hopefully should be about -3.0 on the rears.

no you can't ride it like that just for shows and stopping people taking the wheels lol. The ride is nice and firm not bouncy or hard.

This is how the car looks after the afternoon and prep for skoda tomorrow for the new engine

Well dropped the car off at skoda this morning and left them a note about the airride eek.. Hopefully no playing with it but there are liable for any damage on the car when they return it. In replacement I've got a 1.2 tsi rapid in white with free insurance and fuel. Can't be bad hopefully have the car back this time next week.
