Seatbelt light shows up and some more issues...

Featured Replies

Hey guys, new here!

I purchased the car today, and have a few issues, not sure if they are linked?

1) When all doors are locked and closed the seat belt light still shows, even though all seat belts are plugged in?

2) Key fob central locknig button isn't working, you press it and the light on the fob turns on but doesn't unlock or lock the car... battery is fine.

3) Both REAR passengers doors won't lock with central locking (using the key to lock the car from passengers side and it only locks that door and drivers door) so have to press lock down manually.

4) I can't lock the car from drivers side, it just turns but doesn't do anything so have to lock from front passengers side.

5) The boot shuts but doesn't lock, you can just press the button and it opens again...

6) The dashboard time resets everytime the engine is turned on and off.

Seems something is up with the central locking. Any idea?

I have a Skoda Octavia 1999 1.8 estate automatic.

Please help and suggest anything, thank you guys!!!
