Intermittent Glow plug light with Engine management light on

Hi all,

recently my Octavia has had the glow plug light on flashing but it goes off if I turn the engine off an on. the car starts fine in cold weather an every time so I don't think the glow plugs are faulty. yesterday the glow plug light came on and then the engine management light came on also, the car isn't in limp mode.

what could cause this to happen?

Needs to be scanned, local VCDS owner, main dealer or local independent specialist.

I've just had it scanned and it comes up with a Code (12600) P3138 fault code. has anybody had trouble with this or know anything about it? its on a 57plate Octavia VRS 2.0 170bhp Diesel
