Seems someone decided to break the near side wing mirror off my Mk1 Fabia vRS last night.  I've duck taped it back on and it still works (motor, heated glass), it's just the metal bracket bit that seems to have snapped.

 

What are my options for getting it fixed as cost effectively as possible?

Depends....

 

Simplest would be remove broken, bolt on a replacement. (£30-£50 for s/h on eBay or £70+ for a new pattern part).

It would depend weather you wanted to change the fixing bracket or the whole unit. My o/s one is misshaped due to someone kicking it while it was tucked in.
