rest hand on lid all stops any ideas

Isn't creaking or rattling near the glove-box a common Octavia problem?

Yep my Blackline was exactly the same after a few months of ownership. When you actually look at whats holding it shut kind of makes sense as its not the best latch arrangement.

Boggo 1.9tdi here.. My glove box rattles also. Does my head in, wanna swear. Loudly!

tried do up all the torx on mine and it made no difference, put some foam padding around the lip and that worked for a couple of days. Only permanent fix was/is loud music
