squeaking on left turn

Featured Replies

I noticed the other day when turning slowly left that I could hear a squeak seemingly from the right hand side of the car. I've just been out today and taken a few corners at speed reasonable speed and found the faster I take a corner the more it squeaks. Any ideas guys ?

Trapped mouse?

Hey. I hope that's all it is ????. I hope it's just a stone trapped and not a wheel bearing.

1/ Swaybar bushes ( RHS particularly ) the MOST likely.

2/ Lower RHS control arm bush

3/ Dreaded damper 'stiction' RHS, least likely as it would do it over minor bumps too.

(Stiction.....some decades ago the damper seal would squeak as it slid over the chrome shaft but I haven't heard that for a long time ....Ford Falcons did suffer badly for a period)

We didn't get many Ford Falcons in the UK!!
