new coal burner owner : fabia vrs mk1.

Featured Replies

Hi peeps. I'm a regular on octy 1 forum but have now bought a mk1 fabia vrs. Had a few teething troubles, battery died on way home. Alternator putting out 14.3v so changed battery. Found battery positive cable was shot (corroded and swelled/split insulation). Seems fine for now but new cable on order. Battery retainer bolt snapped due to corrosion too, think it may have had a leaky battery at some point as under batt was full of white fur... thank god the tray is plastic! Few other little bits to sort but liking it so far.

Will be lurking here for info I'm sure!

Welcome to the forum :) ... We're possibly a different breed to the octy forum.
