Was at the traffic lights, my friend was with me and we were talking, and we see it pull over, so I think to myself, V6 vs V8...i knew I was gonna get royally banged, but I thought 'hey why not, do it for fun!'...friend's crackin' up here...

Lights go green, we both floor it...my eyes are on the road and my friend's like 'dude he's pulling away he's f***in' you man don't!!!', and I'm like 'What the hell I'm playing here!!!'...

...he starts pulling away instantly, but then the Superb started pulling hard too...we dragged on for about 100 meters...he was a little below a car length ahead of me...he pulled off to go left, honked and waved...absolutely hilarious..

Now I'm waiting for some bashing from my fellow members...

Just checked - two V6s, a V8, a diesel V10 and the W12.

They are all awesome but the W12 is why VW dealers have to have a dedicated Pheaton bay. There is a special jig that cradles the engine when you have to take it out to do anything like the back lambda probes.

I bet the 5.0 V10 TDI is awesome, anyone had a go in the new A8 4.2TDI?? 320 odd BHP and enough torque to uproot a tree sounds like proper fun.
