Spec'd my order with bolero and canton. I don't use a sat nav very often and when I do I find my phone is sufficient.

Is there any other benifits with the other head units or just they support navigation?

Bigger / higher res screen on the Columbus... aside from that I think the Amundsen is basically the same as Bolero but with nav.

I'll add that the Columbus also plays DVD video.
I agree that if you have no desire for built-in satnav, there's really no reason for going above Bolero.

Does bolero have traffic incidents?

On the admundsen there's a traffic button that shows near by traffic issues which I use all the time to save me listening to the local radio stations.

No because it doesn't have nav so won't know where you are.
