Grommet in bulkhead on drivers side?

Featured Replies

At the minute my boost gauge piping runs along the bulkhead to the passenger side and then behind the dash to drivers air vent. Since I've moved it from the centre console to the vent and extended the tubing I'm not happy with how the needle moves it seems to be slower than what the turbo is boosting because of all the tubing. Is there a grommet on the drivers side I can go through as it would cut out more than half of what I'm using now and I think it would make the gauge more accurate or is it a case of drilling a hole somewhere?

I'm not aware of it, and also run boost feed for guage right from EGR delete, to N/S grommet, then up middle of dash.  No issues with dodgy feed though.

That's how mine is at the min but because I've extended I think it might be leaking slightly but also the gauge seems slower now it's another 3ft over, I was thinking it's because there's probably 10ft of tubing from the boost nipple to the gauge

Pretty sure theres not one there. Have a look through Tech1e's photos of his build. He's got some pics of a stripped out Fabia on there. I used them when looking for a water leak.

Just had a look and couldn't see one, may have to drill a small hole through

This is one of the pics i was on about. Should give you a better understanding of how it looks. I hope this doesnt pee off Tech1e for 'borrowing' a photo.
